Chileee! The internet just won’t let up on Shannon Sharpe. This time, social media users are dragging him for having his dog seated at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
On Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day), Shannon Sharpe posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing him praying at the dinner table with his dog sitting in his lap, then later feeding another dog from his plate. He captioned the video, “Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
Y’all already know the internet never misses a chance to call someone out social media users quickly came for Shannon over having his dog at the table while the food was out. The comments didn’t seem to bother the podcast host, and he made timeeee to check those that had to send negativity his way.
When one user told Shannon Sharpe, “Dogs are at the table ,” he responded, “They sleep in the bed also.”
When another social media user chimed in on the conversation, writing, “Thats a yes, sleeping. For sure. Table no.” The comment led the former NFL player quickly clapped back with, “What makes you think Im going allow you 2 tell me what I should do at my house?”
The Roommates reacted to Shannon Sharpe having his dog at the table in The Shade Room’s comment section. Many folks weren’t bothered by it and had his back, supporting him for defending himself.

Another Instagram user @djsterlinggolden wrote, “People on social media will literally complain about anything.”

Lastly, Instagram user @photosbylorealdiane wrote, “Its in his lap on his side of the table, super cute and clean. Who cares its his house, his way and Dogs become family after a while.”
X users weren’t feeling Shannon’s decision. A lot of them told him he should known better than to have his dog sitting at the table.
