It’s been a few months since Sharelle Rosado announced her and Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson‘s breakup. At first, Chad revealed they weren’t even speaking. Then, last week, Rosado’s podcast joined Shannon Sharpe’s company, Shay Shay Media. Chad and Sharelle joked about the opportunity online. Now, she’s clarifying whether they’ve reconciled their romance and where things stand between them.
While speaking on the radio show 99Jamz in Miami, Sharelle admitted to being on the phone with her “baby daddy,” meaning Chad Ochocinco. The former couple share a daughter named Serenity Paula, who recently celebrated her third birthday earlier this month. The 99Jamz radio host spilled a lil’ tea, saying Ochocinco was on the phone calling Sharelle babe. After laughing, Rosado explained where things stand with them.
“We’re not back together officially, but he’s my best friend. He is truly my best friend and everyone sees that,” she said.
At first, she said it was like they were dating without being intimate, but she quickly corrected herself and admitted they had been. As far as “working it out,” Rosado said they haven’t even thought about the topic. She added that she reminds Chad that every day.
Sharelle Rosado’s bestie energy differs from how she was publicly carrying Chad in December. He seemed to be flirting with her, and she shut it down expeditiously! Johnson reacted with a light, shady post — a picture of his daughter Jicyra and Sharelle at a concert with Rosado’s face blocked out.
Earlier this month, Sharelle Rosado told Carlos King she ended the relationship after snooping through Ochocinco’s phone while in a rough relationship spot. Apparently, he was entertaining multiple women who were throwing themselves at him.
“I found out about it and I was like f*** this s**t you know who I am? Like, I know who you are Im gonna respect what you have.. but it is what it is and nobodys perfect. But I just feel like, when things happen be honest about it. It shouldnt lead to that point of how Im finding out,” Sharelle Rosado said.
She admitted to the TV host that she and Chad are getting therapy separately, and she hopes it will bring them back together. He responded to the interview with a video saying his ex-fiance left him while in his prime season!
