As we previously reported, Silento was arrested earlier this year for his alleged role in his cousin’s murder. Now he is asking a judge to grant him bond so he can be released from behind bars.
According to TMZ, he filed documents in DeKalb County requesting that the court sets his bond at $25,000. He reassures if he’s released that he will not go on the run. In the documents, he states that he is “not an extraordinary bail risk and will not jeopardize the safety of the community if released on bail.”
The site continued to state that Silento said denying him bail is both “unjust” and “unconstitutional.” A bond hearing has been scheduled for later this month.
Back in February, the 23-year-old was charged for the murder of his 34-year-old cousin Frederick Rooks.
The incident report stated that Rooks was found on January 21st in the area of Panthersville after suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities said that they believe he may have known someone in the area he was found. There was footage collected from the surrounding security cameras. Authorities were able to see multiple cars leaving the area and at least one shot fired.
Prior to that incident, Silento also had a run-in with the law where he was taken into custody for speeding.
