Simone Biles might be a decorated Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast, but she has regrets, just like everyone else.
In a “Get Ready With Me” TikTok video she uploaded on Friday, August 2, Biles shared details about a recent self-care act that went wrong.
While preparing for the Olympic all-around final, Simone revealed her decision to get Botox for her 27th birthday.
“I have a funny story for you guys. So, for my 27th birthday, I got Botox, like, baby Botox, just right here in my T-zone, and I did not like it. So I haven’t got it again, and mind you, that was back in March,” the athlete explained.
Biles then recalled how the Botox caused one of her eyebrows to occasionally lift on its own.
She also explained that one of her gymnasts pointed it out to her during practice, but she struggled to get it to go back down for nearly 20 seconds at a time.
“I would be, like, standing at practice and then my eyebrow would be slowly going up,” Simone says while demonstrating. “And then Zoey would be like, ‘Simone your eyebrow is doing it again.’ I’m like I feel it and I couldn’t get it back down.”
As she opened up about her personal procedures, the Olympic champion also discussed her plans to add more tattoos to her collection.
Simone confirmed that she already has the Olympic rings, but she is contemplating the addition of some ink as an ode to Paris.
