Simone Biles Has Two Moves Named After Her While Competing In The World Championships In Stuttgart, Germany

Simone Biles is definitely the definition of Black Girl Magic as she continues to put on for the U.S. while competing with her team at the World Championships out in Stuttgart, Germany.

According to CNN, while competing she was able to have two moves renamed after her. During her floor exercise routine, she landed a triple-double, and during her routine on the balance beam, she double-double dismount.

Simone said to the USA Gymnastics, “My goal going into tonight was to not be great. It wasn’t to do great, it was to do well, and I feel like I accomplished that.”

According to NBC Sports, she now has a total of four moves that have been renamed after her. She has the highest scores on the floor, and also the highest score on the beam. She also added, “It’s always nerve-racking because qualifications qualify you into everything. Waking up, it’s just like, oh gosh, what’s going to happen tonight.”

Simone achieved the highest all-around scored by 2.266 points. The U.S. team is working towards their seventh straight Olympic or world team title. While Simone goes for her sixth straight Olympic or world all-around title.
