Youd think 10 years is enough to decide whether or not you want to marry someone –Apparently not to Miguel. Hes been with his girlfriend, Nazanin Mandi, on and off for a decade, and finally opens up as to why he hasnt yet popped the big question.
I think its more about working. The thing is, you got to know who you are as a person, first of all, he said in a recent interview with Hot97, I think Ive come so far as a man and Im just starting to feel solid where I an be like, You know what? I think I can hold this down legitimately. I know people throw things around like marriage, I just wasnt raised like that.
Miguel explains that he doesnt feel pressured to speed up the process, because he knows that when its time to commit, thats exactly what he can and will do; until then, Nazanin has accepted the fact that hes, as he put it, wild at heart.
Im wild at heart. I follow my instinctsI think shes learned that and shes had to adjust and had to learn and also embrace. And I love her more for that.
Well it seems shes learned acceptance as well as patience over the last decade.
