Snapchat Announces New Original Shows, Including A Docuseries On Tekashi69

Tekashi69 has been making headlines left and right when it comes to his current case. With all of the attention surrounding him, Snapchat has taken the opportunity to feature him in one of their upcoming shows.

According to Deadline, “Tekashi69 VS The World” as a part of their new “VS The World Franchise.” The series will be “tracing the rise and fall,” of 6ix9ine.

TMZ reports that the series will be produced by Complex, and while they’re currently in production, the current news surrounding 6ix9ine will more than likely be a part of the series. The show, which is reportedly scheduled to premiere this fall, will also feature interviews from people who were close to him.

However, Tekashi will reportedly not be seeing any money from the docuseries.

As we previously mentioned, Tekashi has taken the stand within the past week and has testified about his involvement with a New York City gang. His driver, Jorge Rivera also testified to being an informant after being approached by ICE.

He reportedly spokes about his run-in with the law and exchanging information on Tekashi and his entourage in exchange for his freedom. Information could include their whereabouts, legal activity, and even the recording of Tekashi’s alleged kidnapping.

Many people have been expressing their thoughts about Tekashi’s case, and many people aren’t too happy with his decision to release information to authorities, and many people have been labeling him as a snitch because of his actions.
