Whew! The internet is in shambles after Queen Naija‘s comments on marriage in her recent interview.
Queen Naija recently sat down with Lex and Drea on the ‘Pour Minds’ podcast and opened up about her current feelings on marriage and why she’s no longer in a rush to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend, ClarenceNYC.
In the interview, Queen says she is taking time for herself and is willing to wait for marriage. She added that public pressure no longer bothers her, as she takes accountability for always mentioning marriage in old clips and songs when she first fell in love.
I admit I put my own foot in my mouth, Queen told the hosts when asked how she feels about the internet placing her relationship on a timeline.
She also revealed that she and Clarence have been in therapy.
“Am I ready to be a wife? Is he ready to be a husband? she asked, emphasizing that they are both working on themselves and she’s not ready to be committed to wifely duties.

During the same Pour Minds interview, Queen Naija addressed her ex-husband, Chris Sails, and his ongoing social media behavior. Despite several videos seemingly picking at her post-breakup, Queen Naija told the host he doesn’t faze her.
I honestly cant take him seriously… He’s on there because he has to do that,” Queen said, comparing it to a mom getting used to a baby crying.
However, she hinted that shes not entirely ignoring him.

Queen and Chris became famous as a YouTube couple and share a son.
