The Disney Channel debates are heating up again, and the timelines are in shambles. Now, former Disney star Brenda Song has entered the chat, sharing her personal Mount Rushmore of Disney legends and making it clear there are a couple of names she simply couldnt leave off.
On Wednesday (April 8), The Shade Room Teens shared a clip of Brenda Song being interviewed by the Associated Press. During the interview, she was asked the viral question that continues to spark debate online: Who belongs on Disney Channels Mount Rushmore? The conversation has recently resurfaced after Raven-Symon shared her own picks during an episode of Stepping Into The Shade Room.
When asked for her list, Brenda named Miley Cyrus, Raven-Symon, and Hilary Duff. She then added that, because of her experience on ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,’ she had to include the twins, Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse. Referring to them as her “brothers,” Brenda rounded out her list by adding Selena Gomez.
Social media users quickly jumped into the conversation in the comments section, with mixed reactions to Brendas picks. While some fans agreed that Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse earned their spots, others believed other names were left off the list.
While Brenda Song didnt include herself on her Mount Rushmore, her husband, Macaulay Culkin, previously made his stance clear. In March, Macaulay took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of Brenda from her London Tipton era. Alongside the image, he wrote, “Not that anyone asked, but Im throwing my hat into the debate. THIS is my Disney Channel Mount Rushmore.”
