Today is definitely a historic day in Donald Trump’s presidency as the House of Representatives have voted to impeach him. After several hours of debating in the House, things ended with Trump being impeached on two articles, abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
Now that the House has done their part, it doesn’t mean Donnie is out of office just yet. Now things will be moving on over to the Senate. Donald Trump is now the 3rd president in U.S. history to have been impeached by the house. If at least 67% of Senate, which is currently run by the Republicans, vote for conviction, then Trump will be removed from office.
Although this doesn’t mean that Donald Trump is out of the office at the moment, you know social media had some things to say after the House made their votes. Some celebs such as Meek Mill and Trevor Noah weighed in on the matter.
Meek said, “I can’t lie I’m waiting to see what Trump got to say about this lol he should just go out with a bang. He should go live on the gram (Instagram).

After the House’s decision Trump took to Twitter to share his first thoughts in a meme that read, “In reality, they’re not after me, they’re after you. I’m just in the way.”

Donald Trump has been impeached. That doesn’t mean he’s automatically removed from office. Next, the Senate will hold a trial to assess the House’s charges.
