Kim Kardashian Pays Homage To Her Late Father

In Kim Kardashian’s cover story with GQ, she shared how much her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., influenced her life and career. The mother of four recalled a sentiment her father shared with her ahead of his passing.

“I know youre going to be okay,” Robert Kardashian Sr. reportedly said. “Its almost like I can see ahead. I know youre going to be okay, but just take care of your siblings for me. Just make sure you take care of them.”

Kardashian explained that from that moment on she “took what he said to mean that I was going to be okay in life.”

“But it made me make decisions differently,” Kardashian added.

One decision that Kardashian noted from her father was how he and her mother, Kris Jenner, handled their divorce.

“I did think about how my parents handled it with us,” Kardashian explained. “I just remember them being open.”

Kardashian adds that because of that example, she prioritizes her kids feeling “heard” following her split from Kanye West.

“Ultimately, what matters is that kids feel loved and heard,” Kardashian explained. “You want to be sensitive because theyre just kids… You have to make sure that you only go to a level that they can understand. Its okay to show a vulnerable side. You never go to a negative side.”
