Social media users are in their feels after rapper Joey Bada$$ serenaded Serayah with love on National Girlfriend Day. As The Shade Room previously reported, the pair initially denied their romance earlier this year. However, in June, the actors went public as they celebrated Serayah’s birthday with a bae-cation.
National Girlfriend Day arrived earlier this week on Tuesday, August 1. Afterward, the rapper and actor took to his Instagram Story to celebrate his partner.
In his initial post, he shared a photo of him and Serayah sitting in front of a large pizza platter as Serayah plants a loving kiss on his cheek. In the post’s caption, he added a few words.
“I heard it’s national gf day.”
The following post featured a video of him and Serayah on what appears to be a boat. The video begins with the pair sharing a series of kisses as Badass seems to whisper, “You’re so beautiful,” to Serayah in between.
In his third post, Bada$$ shared a photo of him and Serayah rocking matching jeans. The fourth photo featured another kiss they shared, while the fifth photo featured them posing in front of an ocean on a candlelit scene.
The rapper’s last slide on his Instagram Story featured them enjoying a floating meal as Serayah showered her boyfriend with kisses and fed him fruits.

Social media users quickly stepped into The Shade Room’s comment section to share their reactions to Joey Badass’ display of affection for his girlfriend.
Some users appeared smitten with the couple.

As The Shade Room previously reported, the couple seemed to confirm their relationship in June when they embarked on a bae-cation to celebrate Serayah’s 28th birthday.
At the time, the rapper posted a video of them kissing with a brief caption.
“happy birthday my love ”
As Serayah responded.
“ Thankyou mi amor”
Before this, the pair alluded to their romance in February when the rapper shared a photo of them at what appears to be a dinner.
However, both parties appeared to denounce speculation of their romance. Serayah took to Instagram Live to tell fans to “simmer down.”
While Joey Bada$$ seemed to refer to Serayah as a “friend.”
“Were not [together]… Serayah and I… We have some mutual friends. I think we found ourselves at a few, like, at the same events. And we just became really cool, you know? We got a pretty cool friendship, and I think shes gorgeous. I think shes talented…”
