Social Media Reacts To The Delayed Release Of Kanye West’s New Album ‘Jesus Is King’

Today is the official release date for Kanye West’s new album “Jesus Is King” (listen here). The album was scheduled to drop at 12am EST. However, the album didn’t release around that time, and late last night Kanye thanked his fans for their patience and reassured that the album was still coming, he was just fixing the mixes on three tracks.

Nonetheless, that did not stop Black Twitter from doing their thing and reacting as they continued to wait for the release of this highly anticipated album.

Although the album didn’t drop at midnight as many people suspected, Kanye kept his promise and “Jesus Is King” still dropped on October 25th. Instead of a 12am release, the album dropped around 12pm EST.

As we previously reported, Kanye took to new measures when it came to recording this album. He said that he asked the people who were working on his album to abstain from premarital sex. He said in his interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio, “There were times where I was asking people not to have premarital sex while they were working on the album.”

He continued to speak about the new relationship he has with Christ, and his duty to spread the gospel.
