Trina‘s husband, Swurv, reportedly performed during his wife’s set at the Taco and Tequila Festival on Saturday, July 25, in Cleveland, Ohio, and a clip of his performance and a rumored booking contract have sparked chatter online.
Trina performed at the Taco and Tequila Festival in Cleveland over the weekend, and she seemingly surprised her fans with a performance by her husband, Benjamin “Swurv” Kearse Jr. The rapper, whose real name isKatrina Laverne Taylor, gave Swurv the microphone during her set, and a clip of the performance is going viral.
Swurv sported a red cap with matching shorts and a white T-shirt as he delivered some verses. His on-stage energy was good, but his tone seemed flat.
A clip of the performance is making the rounds on social media, and folks are sharing their unfiltered opinions.
Fans reacted after the clip was shared on TSR’s Instagram page, and several Roomies gave kudos to the couple while others joked about Swurv’s performance. One fan claimed that Swurv performing is a condition of Trina’s appearance at shows.
@Persway82 wrote, “Booking agents are saying that if you want Trina to perform… you have to let her man perform! Aye… it’s nothing wrong with that.”
