Social media is goin’ OFF with reactions after a video resurfaced of Raven-Symon being brushed away for Kendall Jenner mid-interview.
On February 3, The Shade Room posted throwback footage of Raven-Symon, apparently on a red carpet. Furthermore, the clip appeared to have resurfaced on social media but was initially shared by TooFab via the outlet’s YouTube page on February 12, 2016.
In the clip, a reporter asks Symon to share the “one beauty product” she couldn’t “live without.” However, as Symon begins to respond, a hand taps the reporter, seemingly trying to get her to pay attention to something else.
As the camera shifts, viewers can see Kendall Jenner standing behind Symon, unbeknownst to her.
“Oh, it’s okay, someone’s more important so I’ll let them go head,” Symone then says before walking off camera as the reporter then greets Jenner.
Per The Shade Room, Symon spoke about the incident the following day while hosting on ‘The View.’ The actress explained that she understood the “rise and fall” of everyone’s celebrity status, seemingly including her own. However, she wished the producer on the red carpet had been more kind in asking her to step aside for Jenner.
While speaking, Symon seemingly reenacted her interpretation incident.

While Instagram user @theneshantadavis added, “Two things can be true at the same time.. Raven is an icon. Raven also added some razzle right on top of some dazzle, put 10 on 20 and over exaggerated that story.”
As The Shade Room previously reported, the footage of Raven-Symon surfaced after Babyface faced a similar incident with reporters on the Grammys red carpet on Sunday, January 2. Furthermore, when the musician stopped to speak with two female reporters from AP News, one of them interrupted him to call out for another artist to come speak with them.
Subsequently, the incident sparked major discussion and criticism of the outlet online.
