Sonny Alloway Explains Why He Was Seen Grabbing A Girl Off Of An NYC Train (Update)

Recently we reported about a viral video that appeared to show a man attempting to abduct a girl off of a New York City train. Sonny Alloway, the man in the viral video, was later arrested and charged, however, it looks like he is now free and sharing his side of the story.

On Wednesday, another video of Sonny started to go viral again. This time around, it was him explaining his side of the now-viral moment.

He said, “She was like ‘help me, help me.’ I was like yo what happened? She was like ‘he’s holding me hostage.”

He continued to say that he encouraged her to get off the train, but she reportedly claimed that the man she was with was going to beat her up. He said that he explained that he told her at the next train stop he was going to scoop her off. However, she started to scream help when he picked her up.

“You see on the video I sat there. So then I left. So then the dudes on the block was like ‘Yo, why you tried to rape that chick?’ said Alloway.

He proceeded to explain that he was jumped and then taken to the precinct, he cleared his name, and now he’s free.

As we previously reported, authorities revealed on Monday that he was charged with unlawful imprisonment,

At the moment, there has been no official announcement from on authorities on whether the charge was dropped.
