Stephen A.Smith Calls Out NBA Players In Rant & Walks Off Set–Says They Don’t Speak Up For Black Coaches (Video)

Stephen A. Smith is over it and has a lot to say, per usual. This time he had to walk away after delivering his rant.

On a recent episode of “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith called out NBA players, in response to the Celtics’ Head Coach Brad Stevens being promoted to President of Basketball Operations.

Stephen said, in part, “NBA Players are some of the most powerful people in this world. When have they spoken up for Black coaches? When? When have they spoken up for Black executives, GM’s, President of Basketball Operations? When has that happened?”

He continued and also mentioned LeBron James. “LeBron, all of them…everybody…Where the hell have they been? Nobody’s done anything.”

Before he walked off set and let us know that he was pissed, he also stated, “You know what I’m walk[ing] away. I’ll be right back. I’m scared I’m gon’ say something that might get me in trouble. I’m pissed! I’m pissed!”

Stephen is not the only person who has spoken out against the lack of diversity.

Last year, Chris Paul stated, “The league is predominantly African American players. So you’d like to see more people higher in executive positions,” Paul told reporters. “The league has told us, and it’s up to us and the players and union to hold them to that to make sure more people of color and women continue to keep being in these executive roles all throughout the league,” Bleacher Report stated.

Roomies, what do you think about this?
