Stevie J’s Divorce Attorney Filed Motion To Release Him As A Client Due To Irremediable Breakdown

Roommates, it looks like Stevie J will have to seek new legal counsel to finish up the process of his divorce to R&B diva Faith Evans. The music producer and reality TV star’s current divorce Attorney, #KimiaKlein, of law firm Fox Rothschild LLP, recently filed a motion to dismiss him as a client, according to court records obtained by The Grio. If you recall, Stevie initially filed for divorce on November 8th, citing infidelity.

Reports show that on Tuesday, Attorney Klien cited an “irremediable breakdown” in their relationship as the reason for her request to drop Stevie, born Steven Jordan as a client. In the filing, Attorney Klien wrote, “Despite several attempts by my office to informally resolve the issues with Steven, we have been unsuccessful in resolving the issues.” Attorney Klein didn’t spill all the tea behind the issues due to attorney-client privilege. However, she did add, “The relationship has broken down sufficiently so that my colleagues and I cannot continue to represent Steven,” she said.

Although Stevie did file for a divorce, it looks like he may not be ready to walk away for Faith. Shortly after the news broke, the two were spotted together in Malibu frolicking on the beach. Faith shared a video on her Instagram page with the caption, “Get us free, bruh! @hitmansteviej_1.” Several people left comments wondering the status of their relationship.

One week ago, Faith posted a video showing her new tattoo, and Stevie commented, “Nice tat ma. You clowns go play in traffic,” which added more speculation.

Currently, Stevie hasn’t addressed the issue with his former attorney or plans on moving forward with the divorce, but he has a hearing date to resolve the issue with Attorney Klein for March 28th. Roomies, we’ll keep you updated as more info becomes available.
