Summer Walker Teases Second Album By Taking Its Hard Drive For A Ride

Whew! Summer Walker knows exactly what she’s doing as she teases album number two. The streets have spoken and they’re ready to hear more from the “Playing Games” singer. However, as Summer recently revealed, that time won’t come until November. Still, the star continues to tease the project with footage of the supposed hard drive that contains the album goods.

As previously reported, she didn’t attend this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards. Apparently, the award show set strict COVID-19 requirements, which prevented Summer from being there. However, she still popped up nearby to make a special announcement she had planned for the red carpet.

In a short video, Summer is seen walking around a van to reveal a light-controlled projection on a building. The sign said “Summer Walker, album #2 coming November, projected on the side of the building.

Now, the artist is making sure we don’t forget another project is on its way.

In her latest tease, Summer shared a video of her hopping into a vehicle. After she’s seated in the back, she safely buckles in her pink, glittered hard-drive. To drive the teasing home, she gives it a light tap once it’s securely strapped down. The device is labeled with what appears to be tape reading “Album #2.”

The only text in the video said “off to the Falcons game,” while Summer’s “Playing Games” served as background music. After teasing her movements, Summer did, in fact, pull up to the NBA game alongside an additional guest.

While the hard drive got a spin around the block, Summer’s new boo also joined her at today’s game. The couple flicked it up in front of the Atlanta Mercedes Benz stadium.

Summer is expected to make another announcement about the album drop on Monday, October 4. Monday marks the anniversary of Summer’s last album “Over It,” which was released in 2019.
