Summer Walker & Usher Drop The Video For Their Song “Come Thru”

Summer Walker fans are likely very happy right now. After months of waiting, she finally released the video for her fan-favorite single with R&B legend Usher, “Come Thru.”

Following a rocky last few months that saw her struggling with reported social anxiety, which led to postponing several shows on her tour, Summer Walker appears to be back in a positive space courtesy of her new music video.

Usher previously performed “Come Thru,” produced by Summer’s boyfriend and producer London On Da Track, live with her during an appearance on her First and Last Tour’s stop in Los Angeles back in November. To date, “Come Thru” has peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 42.

In the video, Summer (enveloped with red lighting) is seen singing on the back of a motorcycle and then gripping her love interest on the hood of a car, while she confesses her inability to get her man off her mind. As she sings, she’s wearing skintight black latex pants and a matching corset.

Then the superstar himself, Usher, makes his appearance midway through the video looking and sounding just as good as he always does. He sings while inside an empty flea market, as he romances another woman while Summer watches from the front of the store. Producer Jermaine Dupri pops up for a surprise cameo in the video as well.

2020 is reportedly the year that we can expect as major music comeback from Usher, as he’s been in the studio working on a new album that features many of his past writers and producers.
