Roommates, remember back in May when T.I. got into a dispute with a security guard that wouldnt let him into his own gated community?
According to TMZ, the whole encounter led to T.I. getting arrested and charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. Now prosecutors have dropped the assault charge.
The guard on duty was reportedly sleeping when T.I. pulled up to the gate, and wouldnt let him in when he didnt recognize him. That reportedly led to T.I. yelling and cursing at the guard after he wouldnt let him in. The security guardtold police he felt threatened by the rapper.
The site reports that T.I. is still facing 3 counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and one count of misdemeanor public drunkenness.
As we previously reported, when T.I. was first charged his lawyer called the charges baseless, ill-founded and unjustified.
Since the incident, T.I. has remained busy both on the music scene and television scene. He released his latest album “Dime Trap,” and he is gearing up to make his return to reality television in VH1’s new show “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.”
