TSR Updatez: Roommates, we previously reported that Takeoff was being accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a party in Los Angeles, and it looks like he will not be facing charges in the case.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County District Attorney’s office will not be prosecuting Takeoff for the sexual assault allegations made against him due to “insufficient evidence.” Takeoff’s lawyer says the lack of evidence proves that the “allegations were patently and provably false.”
If y’all recall, a woman filed a lawsuit against the Migo in August 2020, alleging that he raped her at a party in Los Angeles. She alleged that Takeoff stared at her while at the party, making her extremely uncomfortable, before he allegedly raped her in a bedroom.
The legal documents obtained by TMZ cite that the woman alleged Takeoff also offered her weed before the alleged sexual assault. The woman, identified as “Jane Doe” alleged that she went upstairs with the man who invited her to the party and waited in in his bedroom while the man argued with Takeoff.
She alleged hat Takeoff entered the bedroom shortly after and began touching her butt, and proceeded to tip her over face-down, pulled down her clothes and raped her. She claimed that she went to a nearby hospital after the incident, and was suing Takeoff for sexual battery, assault, emotional distress and more.
Takeoff’s attorney previously spoke out about the allegations, denying that Takeoff had anything to do with the woman or her allegations. His attorney described him as “quiet, reserved, and peaceful.”
While one-third of the Migos seems to be out of hot water, one of his counterparts, Quavo is dealing with some mess of his own. As we reported, the LAPD is currently investigating a physical altercation between Saweetie and Quavo, which was caught on video.
