Tamar Braxton, recently in the headlines for her personal life, stepped back onto the stage to zone in on her talent! The award-winning songbird took the stage as one of the performers at the 2024 BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards on September 6.
Braxton delivered a powerful rendition of Karyn White’s ‘Superwoman’ at the ceremony. The R&B musician honored Babyface as he received the BMI Icon Award. The BMI Awards took place in Los Angeles on Friday, September 6. They honored the talented songwriters, producers, and publishers behind some of the most innovative music today.
Tamar took to Instagram after the event, sharing a video of her performance and expressing her excitement about returning to the stage. In the caption, the ‘Love and War’ singer wrote, “Glad to be back in the rooms where I belong thank you #bmirnbhh24”
The Roommates flooded The Shade Room comments, excited to see Tamar back on stage and praising her vocals.
