‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Kailyn Lowry Reveals She’s Expecting Twins In New Pregnancy

Kailyn Lowry is spinning the parenthood block again! In a new “Barely Famous” episode, the ‘Teen Mom 2’ star revealed her sixth pregnancy. She and her boyfriend, Elijah Scott, will be welcoming twins!

Fans are gagging over the news online! It comes just weeks after Kailyn confirmed she welcomed her fifth child, Rio, last year. Like this update, she announced that news on her podcast.

The reality TV alum joked about coming home with “permanent souvenirs.” She first suspected her pregnancy while on vacation in Thailand, per the Oct. 27 episode, but thinks she got pregnant before the trip.

Though she noticed her flushed skin and how she was “eating everything,” she didn’t want to believe it was pregnancy.

“I didn’t think anything of it because I was like, “There’s just no way, like, there’s no way I am,” Kailyn Lowry said.

Lowry confirmed that she’ll have “seven kids.” Adding, at one point, that she’s become pregnant while she’s not ovulating.

Kailyn’s Mommyhood Timeline

As mentioned, Kailyn welcomed Rio privately last year. On Oct. 25, she shared some footage from her surprise baby shower.

Kailyn Lowry grew into fame when she appeared on MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant’ while a senior in high school. She welcomed her first son Issac with her then-boyfriend Jo Rivera while filming on the show.

She retired from the franchise in 2022. Before then, she became part of ‘Teen Mom 2’ in 2011. On the spinoff show, she married Javi Marroquin, and they welcomed a son named Lincoln in 2013. Their marriage ended in 2016.

In the following years, Kailyn had two more boys, Lux and Creed, with Chris Lopez. Earlier this month, she told fans about Rio with Scott.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Lowry revealed the fifth pregnancy — much like her sixth — was a surprise.

“As chaotic as it was finding out about being pregnant again, he’s been such an incredible baby that it was really a true light at the end of a dark year for me,” Kailyn said of Rio.
