Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour, the teens who traveled to Horn Island with Nolan Wells, have reportedly launched a search of the island as Ben Crump reacts to their hiring of Edward Andrew Paltzik, a lawyer who has represented Donald Trump.
According to TMZ, Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour are reportedly investigating Horn Island on Friday. August 7. The outlet reports that the teens, along with their attorneys, Tyler Cox and Edward Andrew Paltzik, released a joint statement to the outlet. In it, they reportedly explained that they would be investigating Horn Island “as they begin investigating Nolan’s death.”
Per the outlet, the group does not intend to gather evidence during the search. Instead, the purpose of the trip is to understand the island’s “layout and dynamics.”
Furthermore, Ben Crump reacted to the trio’s addition of Edward Andrew Paltzik to their legal team. In an interview with TMZ, Crump called the move a “distraction.” Per the Clarion Ledger, Paltzik “has handled several high-profile media cases for President Donald Trump.” This, reportedly including cases against “CBS/Paramount, The New York Times, and the BBC.” Additionally, he specializes in defamation and media cases.
“We are focused on getting to the truth of what happened to Nolan Wells. That’s all that matters… it’s all a distraction,” he told the outlet.
As The Shade Room previously reported, a legal defense fundraiser was launched earlier this month for Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, Morgan Seymour, and others. To date, it has garnered over $160,000. And it will reportedly serve as a fund to fight wrongful death actions and to address slander and libel.
In addition, Tyler Cox and Edward Andrew Paltzik were hired to defend the teens. Per TMZ, the pair are “proud to stand with and fight for three completely innocent young men” who have “nothing whatsoever to do with the tragic death of Nolan Wells.”
