Tekashi 69 Explains Why He Took A Break From Instagram & Music To Become Healthier (Photos)

Tekashi 69 took posted to Instagram and shared that he took a break from the platform and music to become healthier.

After posting a few before and after photos showing his weight loss, he wrote, “Hey guysss………. SO the real reason I LEFT Instagram and MUSIC for 6 months is because in September I was the biggest I ever got .. I weighed 204 pounds and I was kinda going through a lot in life and I was just constantly eating and eating…… I told myself to put the music to the side and focus on myself and here I am today 60 pounds lighter at 140 … “

He continued, “ALL THIS TO SAY … – IN LIFE everyone needs a break, in the chaos of everything that is going on in your life, tell yourself “ I control what happens in my life” do NOT let anyone tell you that things you want it’s not possible, that’s FALSE! YOU WANT IT GO GET IT ! OWN THAT S**t ! I AM AND FOREVER WILL BE THE KING OF NEW YORK CHECK THE F**KING STATS !!!!!!”

Most recently, Tekashi had a verbal altercation with Meek Mill, earlier this month.

The two rappers and their respective security teams got into a shouting match in which Tekashi 69 accused Meek Mill of working with the cops.

In Meek’s version of the exchange, he claims the feds sent Tekashi to “take me out.”

“The feds sent him to take me out wtf…had to spit on him so he retreated lol he really waited outside the club for me…I thought I was dreaming  wtf,” Meek Mill’s caption read.

From Tekashi’s perspective, he claims he was exposing Meek for being a fake gangsta.

Meek doubled down on his version of events in a series of tweets.

“Why did he pick meeeee wtf lol,” one of Meek’s tweets read.

“We did not run into eachother I was getting in my car he just popped out…we almost was smoking on that 69 pack for the love of a viral moment…..he tryna get something locked up no cap lol,” another read.

As previously reported, Meek Mill and Tekashi 69 have their fair history of arguments with Meek adamantly referring to the New York rapper as a rat, after cooperating with the feds in Tekashi’s federal racketeering case.
