Teyana Taylorhas addressed a report alleging that she demandedIman Shumpert receive jail time for allegedly leaking their divorce documents.
On Monday, March 18, TMZ published an exclusive report asserting that Taylor allegedly believes Shumpert “deliberately leaked sealed documents about their divorce to the media.”
Furthermore, the outlet’s report asserted that Taylor doesn’t believe their divorce terms constitute as a settlement because “the parties only got what was awarded by the court … including vehicles and a tour bus, which she says she paid for on her own.”
Per the outlet, Taylor also confirmed that she was awarded four properties while Shumpert was awarded three. However, she noted that one of the three properties he received was a Miami condo that he originally gifted to her. Therefore, she believes the chatter about her and Iman Shumpert’s divorce “settlement” appearing unfair to the public is a falsity. Furthermore, she also believes it has subjected her to “public scrutiny and hate speech… all the while Iman enjoyed having his name be a trending topic.”
Lastly, the report asserted that Taylor believes Shumpert leaked their divorce terms to help promote his rap efforts. Furthermore, it also stated that she reportedly asked a judge to hold her ex-husband in contempt of court and place him behind bars for 20 days with maximum fines.

Additionally, Iman Shumpert’s lawyer, Stephen C. Steele, reportedly shared a statement with TMZ in reaction to the accusation of him allegedly leaking their divorce documents.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert reportedly finalized their divorce in June 2024. At the time, theJasmineBRAND published an exclusive report about Taylor walking away with four properties, Shumpert taking three properties, Taylor receiving a 7-figure payment from Shumpert, $8,000 a month in child support, and retaining a plethora of luxury vehicles.

Subsequently, the reports turned heads and sparked a plethora of comments about Taylor taking Shumpert “to the cleaners.” Furthermore, the reports and subsequent chatter evn prompted Taylor’s mom, Nikki, to speak out.
