The 911 Calls From The Night Jussie Smollett Was Allegedly Attacked Is Released!

It has been some months since Jussie Smollett was allegedly attacked in Chicago. As we all know, details about the incident started to unravel and things haven’t been too good for the actor since.

On Wednesday, the 911 calls that were made following the alleged attack were released.

According to CBS Chicago, someone that works with Jussie made the calls, and the caller added that Jussie didn’t want to report the incident, but he was going to convince him to speak with authorities about the incident.

During the first call, the caller said to the dispatcher, “I just need the police to come by, I work for an artist, I don’t really want to say his name. He states he went to Subway … and two guys; somebody jumped him or something like that. I just want to report it and make sure he’s alright.” The caller continued to state that he was startled and that a noose was placed around his neck.

In the second phone call that was placed, the caller seemed to have grown concerned after the police didn’t arrive in a certain amount of time, and wanted to help provide further information so that the police could arrive faster.

As many of you already know, things would later take a turn for the worse. Jussie was accused of staging the attack and filing a fake police report. The charges against him were eventually dropped.

The incident also played a role in his character’s involvement on the Fox scripted series “Empire.” His character was removed from the final two episodes of season five, and it was confirmed that he would not be returning to the show for the final season.
