The City Girls Celebrate Earning Their First Solo Song To Debut On The Billboard Charts

Roommates, summer hasn’t even officially started yet, but many fans have already crowned “Twerkulator” by the City Girls as the anthem of the season—and the song is so popular that it just reached a major milestone. Taking to her Instagram account, City Girls member JT shared a heartfelt post revealing that the song has earned them their first solo song debut on Billboard.

If you are one of the millions of people who can’t seem to get enough of the City Girls’ hit song “Twerkulator,” you’re not alone because it’s climbing up the charts—and JT and Yung Miami are celebrating. For the very first time, the ladies have landed a solo placement on the Billboard charts, after making previous appearances for guest features.

In an Instagram post speaking on the success of the song, JT wrote the following:

“PERIOD! Our first solo debut 🥺 I’m so happy for us because we’re always counted out I heard “you missed it.”so many times when I got out! Honestly we just getting started! After prison, deaths, leaked albums I’m sooooo thankful!!!! even thou we gave jobs, Pussy talk & fire ass remixes.

Thank GOD, our team, the city girls/boys,tik tokers & the mf twerkulatorsssss!!!!! 🎉🥳👏 now let’s shoot a movie & request it at radio”

Meanwhile, the other half of the group, Yung Miami, is making headlines of her own following a photo of her holding hands with Diddy at Quality Control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas’ recent birthday party in Atlanta—causing the Internet to speculate that the two are possibly dating.
