The Man Who Kidnapped Tekashi 69 Is Also Asking The Same Judge In Their Case To Be Released Early Due To COVID-19 Concerns

Chile, everybody and their mama is requesting to be released from jail, due to COVID-19, and  the man who kidnapped Tekashi 69  is one of them.

According to All Hip Hop, the alleged Nine Trey gang member, Anthony Ellison, is requesting early release because he’s a  ‘vulnerable individual’ and his asthma puts him at risk, while held at the MCC prison in Manhattan.

In a statement obtained from Deveraux Cannick, Ellison’s lawyer, it reads:

Anthony Ellison is a ‘vulnerable individual’ He suffers from an asthmatic condition. During his incarceration at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC), the Bureau of Prisons has provided him with two inhalers to aid him with his asthmatic conditions,” he shared.

Given the outbreak of COVID-19 at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC), Anthony’s health and welfare is in great peril,” he continued.

Also according to All Hip Hop, Ellison has been an upstanding prisoner and has also been educating himself.

“Ellison has completed numerous self-help programs, including an anger management class, and one on music appreciation.”

The convicted kidnapper also received support from his counselor in MCC, which is why his attorney is requesting he is released to his mother, who is also a NYPD officer, on a $100,000 bond.

Tekashi and Ellison have the same judge, Judge Paul Engelmayer. As we previously reported, he released Tekashi just weeks ago.

In addition, other alleged Nine Trey members have requested an early release, Kintea “Kooda B” McKenzie and Faheem “Cripp” Walker. McKenzie. was granted an early release but violated his stipulations with a house party, and he is now awaiting sentencing. Walker’s request was denied.

As we previously reported, Anthony Ellison (Harv) and his co-defendant Aljermiah Mack (Nuke) were convicted of kidnapping Tekashi 69. In the footage obtained by police,  the rapper is seen pleading with Ellison and Mack to spare his life. Tekashi offered to pay the duo $100k. He would eventually get away by jumping into a random car.

We’ll keep y’all updated, Roomies.
