The summer is quickly approaching, which means tons of new memories created.

One thing that will definitely be the talk of the summer is the different music festivals that will be going down. Many of our favorite artists will be performing at these shows and turning up with their fans.

Here are some of the most popular music festivals going down this summer:

The first festival to kick off the summer is Governors Ball on Randall’s Island in New York City on June 2nd-4th. The three-day festival will feature some of the hottest artists, including Chance The Rapper, Kehlani, Rae Sremmurd, A$AP Ferg, and even Wu-Tang Clan, among many others.

Another highly anticipated festival going on June 15th through the 18th is the Firefly Festival in Dover, DE. The four-day event will have nine different stages as artists like The Weeknd, Waka Flocka Flame and Busta Rhymes are scheduled to hit the stage.

Panorama is just another festival that will have the summer lit in New York City as it also takes place on Randall’s Island on July 28th-30th. Some artists that will hit the stage include headliners Frank Ocean, Solange and A Tribe Called Quest, as well as Tyler The Creator, Isaiah Rashad and Vince Staples.

Essence Festival is known as the biggest festival to take over New Orleans each year. The celeb-filled event not only features multiple performance stages but multiple panels ranging from topics such as beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. Nonetheless, the main attraction is the different performers, and this year performers include, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Mary J Blige, Jill, Scott, Jasmine Sullivan and many others. This year’s Essence Festival goes down on June 30th through July 2nd.

Lollapalooza is back again for yet another year in Chicago’s Grant Park on August 3rd-6th. The three-day music festival will feature artists from different genres of music, and of course, some of our favorites will be there to hit the stage. This year fans can expect to see artists such as Chicago’s own Chance The Rapper, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Migos, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty and many others.

Each year everyone looks forward to Afropunk, which goes down in Brooklyn, NY and this year this year fans can look forward to chill vibes and good music from acts such as Willow Smith, SZA, Macy Gray, The Cool Kids, and many others, as well as two special guests that have yet to be announced. This year’s Afropunk Festival takes place on August 26th-27th.

You can definitely count on Made In America to give you that last minute turn up before the summer ends, and this year will be no different. Like always it will take place in Philadelphia, and expected acts to hit the stage include, Jay-Z, J. Cole, Solange, DMX, Migos, Pusha T, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and much more. Made In America will officially kick off on September 2nd and end the following day on September 3rd.

Last year the One Music Fest was definitely the place to be in Atlanta, GA. Although the lineup for 2017 has yet to be announced. We’re pretty sure it will definitely be lit this last year. Some of last year’s artists included Eryakh Badu, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes, Anderson .Paak, T.I. and the infamous reunions between Outkast and the Dungeon Family. This year’s One Music Fest will be going down on September 8th-9th.

The Meadows Music and Arts Festival ends off the festival season as one the biggest of them all. Not to mention the lineup for the three-day event is pretty much lit. Jay-Z, Nas, Erykah Badu, LL Cool J, De La Soul, Tory Lanez and the list goes on. The Meadows will be taking over Citi Field in Queens, NY on September 15th-17th.
