The Woman Seen Posing With Drake In A Viral Photo Is Actually His Employee

Roomies, one thing about the internet is that rumors, spread quickly. On Tuesday evening, a woman shared a photo of herself and the rapper posing in a mirror. It took almost no time for folks on social media to spin stories about a possible new relationship. At some point after the photo made its social media rounds, the woman, whose real name is Luisa Duran, cleared the air with a caption.

“Congratulations on artist of the decade,” Luisa wrote in her caption. “It’s been so amazing working with you these last 10 years. You are truly like a brother to me. #family #10moreyears”

The caption was coupled with a few photos of Luisa on set with the rap superstar. The first image on the slider is the mirror selfie that sent Drake fans into a frenzy. In the image, he is seen standing behind Luisa with his hands resting on either side of her hips. He is dressed in an all-black ensemble and looking towards the phone in Luisa’s hand. Luisa is dressed in a white mini dress with long sleeves.

Although there is no clear sign of intimacy, Drake’s hand placements on either side of Luisa’s hips is what caused all this conversation! By Wednesday morning, Luisa’s Instagram page (@miss_duran) was set to private. A source close to the rapper confirmed to The Shade Room that the two are not romantically linked — saying Luisa is “def not someone [he] talks to.” Luisa has actually served as a stylist and personal groomer for Drake for over 10 years.

On Sunday, Drake accepted the Billboard Music Award for Artist of the Decade. He took the stage with his adorable three-year-old son Adonis.

“I want to dedicate this award to my friends. I want to dedicate this award to my longtime collaborators. I want to dedicate this award to all my peers, all your decisions, and the music you make really does have me tossing and turning at night, trying to figure out what I should do next.”
