Here’s What Tiffany Haddish Said

On the evening of Tuesday, February 20, Haddish took to livestreaming from an airplane. In the 13-minute clip, Haddish explained that she was sitting in business class and sipping orange juice while waiting to take off to Israel.

“Why not go?” Haddish told viewers.

She continued by explaining that she “can’t believe” everything she sees online. Instead, she needs to “go see” for herself. As The Shade Room previously reported, the country of Israel is currently involved in a territorial conflict with Hamas, a Palestinian militant group. The conflict sparked in October 2023 and has thus far resulted in over 29,000 deaths of Palestinian people, per PBS.

“‘Cause I don’t believe everything social media be saying SeeI know a lot of stuff on social be not true because I see stuff people say about me… and I’m like, ‘That’s not what I said. That’s not true.’ So before I get to speaking on stuff… now, I’m gonna go and see,” she continued. “And then I’m gonna tell y’all what I think, but I’m gonna go see with my own eyes ’cause what I saw online I did not like.”

Furthermore, Haddish explained that she knows “so many people” that have gone to Israel “and they’ve come back alive,” so she “just wants to go see.”

Lastly, the 44-year-old captioned the footage of her stream with, “On my way to Israel to learn and see with my own eyes.”

Tiffany Haddish Recently Made Headlines

As The Shade Room previously reported, Haddish made headlines earlier this month when she shared words for fellow comedian Mo’Nique. Before this, Mo’Nique took jabs at Haddih by seemingly explaining to Shannon Sharpe that the comedian wouldn’t have encountered a child abuse scandal or multiple DUI arrests if Haddish had a husband like hers.

“If you had a husband like mine, you may not have two DUIs. If you had a husband like mine, you may not be caught up in what looks like you couldve been grooming a child,” MoNique explained.

In response, Haddish shared that she was “grateful to be on the minds” of people she’s looked up to. Additionally, she shared whether or not she still looks up to Mo’Nique and if they were ever really friends.
