Former ‘Americas Next Top Model’ contestant Tiffany Richardson and rapper JT are back in the spotlight, and Tyra Banks legacy is right at the center of the conversation. Now, fans are buzzing as old cast dynamics collide with fresh social media energy. And lets just say its messy.
On Wednesday, Tiffany Richardson took to Instagram to respond to JT, who recently defended Tyra Banks amid backlash over the ANTM Netflix documentary. In a recent Instagram Story, JT posted a picture of Tyra with the caption: “Singling Tyra out like it wasn’t a whole panel” seemingly defending Tyra against criticism.
In her clap back, Tiffany didnt hold back. She aimed her caption at JT, writing:
” [JT] I understand but what I dont understand is why you be talking all that money talk and broke I KNOW YOU STRUGGLING RIGHT NOW AND YOUR MUSIC TRASH BUT BABY TYRA WAS FAKE AND PRETENDED TO CARE ABOUT US BLACK GIRLS BUT SHE DIDNT!! BIH HOW SHE LOVE US BUT WOULDNT EVEN GET THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO DO BLACK GIRLS HAIR AND MAKE UP! She was a bully and fake af just like I hear yo weird a** is PERIOD AND ONCE AGAIN I SAY, YO MUSIC HORRIBLE LIKE REAL BAD carry on.”
Fans ran straight to Tiffany Richardsons Instagram comment section, and lets just say, there were no holds barred. Many shared that JT needs to step aside, while others claimed Tyra Banks did those girls dead wrong back in the day. Of course, tons of Tiffany supporters were showing love, reminding everyone that she was that girl on the show.

Time doesnt always erase trauma. For Tiffany Richardson, some wounds from ‘Americas Next Top Model’ still sting. The Netflix docuseries ‘Reality Check: Inside Americas Next Top Model’ reopened old scars, reminding fans of the tensions behind the camera. And, Tiffany made it clear she hasnt forgotten. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she called out Tyra Banks as a bully, claiming she lied in the series and detailed how Tyra treated her on and off camera.
“You know how you treated me the whole time off and on camera, YOU WAS A BULLY!!!”Tiffany wrote. “You treated me like s*t and said the nastiest things about me and my son.”
Her frustration stems from one of the most infamous moments in ‘ANTM’ history, when Tyra yelled at Tiffany for supposedly not taking the competition seriously.
I have never in my life yelled at a girl like this. When my mother yelled at me like this, its because she loves me,” Tyra screamed in the 2005 episode. “I was rooting for you. We were all rooting for you.”
That scene became iconic memed, discussed, and replayed for years but for Tiffany, its still a raw reminder of the treatment she endured.
