Tory Lanez Names Kylie Jenner And Corey Gamble As ‘Possible Defense Witnesses’ In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Trial

As the shooting trial between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez nears commencement on December 12, new developments are emerging. In addition to jury members being selected, Lanez has also named “possible defense witnesses” ahead of the trial’s start date.

According to HotNewHipHop, Lanez has named billionaire Kylie Jenner and business executive Corey Gamble “on his list of potential defense witnesses.” He has chosen the two because they were allegedly present at Jenner’s pool party ahead of the shooting.

“Everything Started There”

On Monday, Nancy Dillon, a senior reporter for Rolling Stone, revealed the case’s development via Twitter. She also added a statement from Lanez’s lawyer.

Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez were leaving a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s when the alleged assault took place. According to HotNewHipHop, Jenner has never spoken publicly about the incident but did proceed to unfollow both rappers afterward. No word has surfaced on Gamble’s presence at the party.

Prosecutors Allegedly Have A Witness Of Their Own

According to RadarOnline, prosecutors are also prepared to call a witness of their own: Kelsey Harris, the former best friend of Megan Thee Stallion. Harris was also in the car with the rappers when the alleged shooting took place.

In addition, they also believe they are in possession of enough evidence to convict Lanez of carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle, personal use of a firearm, and assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

Lanez was released from house arrest on Monday, as reported by The Shade Room. The decision was made to give the rapper time to prepare for the trial.

If convicted, Lanez faces up to 22 years in prison.
