Whew, chile! Social media is going IN after a woman recorded her termination conversation with human resources.
Totisonna sparked conversation on Instagram after sharing a video of human resources firing her from her job.
Shelly from human resources starts the interaction by addressing Totsionna’s absenteeism and tardiness. Human resources continues by listing dates when she repeatedly arrived late for work.
During the termination conversation, Totsionna explained to human resources what she believed were valid reasons for her tardiness.
For example, when Shelly mentioned a specific day Totsionna clocked in late, Totsionna blamed her cousin for not returning the car on time.
“Okay, so I let my cousin use my car the night before and he didn’t bring it.. he overslept or something. And he didn’t bring it back until the morning, so like, I still made it though,” Totsionna says in the clip.
Then human resources informed Totsionna that she had failed to call in or show up for work on a specific day. However, she revealed that she didn’t come in, because it was her birthday.
Human resources told her that everyone works on their birthday, but Totsionna responded, “y’all too grown for me.”
The Roommates quickly reacted to the viral termination video in The Shade Room’s comments. Many argued that she was at fault and should have taken accountability for her actions.
