Toya Wright Talks New Book, K. Michelle, Marriage & Lil Wayne

Toya Wright has been in the forefront for some time with her many business ventures. Recently she has been all over promoting her latest book “How to Lose A Husband” which she self-published. She stopped by The Breakfast Club to promote her book, talk about her estranged husband, K. Michelle and Lil Wayne.

Right out the gate Toya was asked about her current relationship with K. Michelle since it wasn’t too long ago the two of them were going back and fourth on social media. She said, “I don’t have a problem with K. Michelle; I think she’s a very beautiful girl, very talented. The whole social media thing came about because I just felt like I was being picked on and I ignored it time and time again.”

She thought everything might have stemmed from her declining to appear on K. Michelle’s show when her team reached out to her. Nonetheless, she made it clear that she is not out to tear down or discredit anyone, but is more interested in seeing other women win.

As for her role in the whole K. Michelle and Memphitz battle she said, “I don’t have anything to do with that situation; I never called her a liar. I never will call her a liar. I never defended my husband. I supported my husband; I supported the man that I know. You can’t get upset with me for supporting someone I’m married to, I’m just being a supportive wife.”

When it comes to her marriage she is not sure whether or not she will be getting a divorce, but is not focused on that at this time. Instead she is focused on her happiness, she reiterated you have to be whole before you can be anyone’s half. “Honestly I love my husband, I think he’s truly one of one. He is a great guy, like for real for real. I’m at a point where I’m just focused on me and just. . .that’s what I’m focused on right now,” she said.

Although she may not be reconciling with her husband any time soon, word on the street is her and Lil Wayne are messing around again. She denied that she was dating anyone or having sex, but she did say, “I’m cool with my daughter’s father though, we’re cool. That’s just always going to be my fam, people will never understand the relationship we have.”

Her book “How To Lose A Husband” is now available.
