Tracee Ellis Ross reportedly threatened to cut back her appearances on ABC’s hit show #Blackish if she doesn’t get a raise. According to the Hollywood Reporter, it was recently revealed that she makes significantly less money than co-star Anthony Anderson and now sis wants her coins!
THR reports that Ross’ situation was used as an example during a recent #TimesUp meeting. The initiative, led by Hollywood actresses, is all about addressing workplace harassment and inequality. Sources says the 45-year-old actress is currently negotiating her fifth season contract, and if the network can’t match the money Anderson is making, she plans to do less shows and only appear as a guest star.
According to a network source, Anderson also serves as an executive producer on the series so that could be the reason for the pay gap. Thoughts, #Roommates?
