While chatting on the ‘All Things Keyshia Ka’oir’ podcast, Trina kept it real about choosing not to get a prenup with her husband. For context, the Miami rap queen married Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr. on May 22, per reports.
When Keyshia Ka’oir asked Trina if she had a prenup, the ‘Pull Over’ rapstress waste no time saying, “I didn’t.” She added that her man brings all his money straight to her and “she’s in charge.”
“He can’t spend a dime without my consent,” Trina said. “He can’t spend a dime for [nothing] unless it goes through me. I see everything, so yeah.”
Additionally, Trina shared that she was the one to make the first move on her hubby. They locked eyes at an event while she was out with her cousin, and the sparks flew from there. She also revealed they tied the knot privately at home, but the real wedding celebration is set for next year.

In an interview with Carlos King on his podcast, ‘Reality With the King,’ the ‘Here We Go’ musician called the relationship a ‘breath of fresh air” and described Benjamin as her “best friend.” She also shared that while she’s keeping things private, she’s not hiding anything if people catch a glimpse.
I feel like now its more than just a relationship. Youre seeing it, but I control my privacy, how I want it to be, as opposed to were doing it because thats what people need to see. I dont care about that. If you see it, oh well. Im not hiding. Im happy. Im confident. Hes extremely confident. And its more than just a relationship. Weve built a friendship. Every day is like being with your best friend,” Trina said.
