One can assume that Trump was probably hotter than fish grease after the House voted to impeach him, just days before his one-term presidency was set to end. So heated that he is reportedly not here for Rudy Giuliani, due to him failing to help Donnie get election results overturned and doesn’t want to pay the man.
It is being reported that he has instructed his staff to not pay his attorney Rudolph W. Giuliani–one of the people who stood ten toes down with Donnie. But it appears thangs have changed.
Reportedly, Trump has given instruction to his team to not pay Giulani’s legal fees, “Trump has instructed aides not to pay Giuliani’s legal fees, two officials said,” the Washington Post reports.
It’s also reported that Trump will personally approve Giuliani’s expenses that he incurred while traveling on the behalf of Trump, while challenging the 2020 election results in key states, according to the Washington Post. The Times also reports that he is also blocking Giulianni’s calls.
The officials also stated that Trump was “offended” with Giuliani’s $20,000-a-day request for his legal fees.
Trump also had a problem because no one was defending him — including press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner, economic adviser Larry Kudlow, national security adviser Robert C. O’Brien, and Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, according to a senior administration official,” the site reports.
“The president is pretty wound up,” said the senior administration official, who, like some others interviewed, spoke on the condition of anonymity to be candid. “No one is out there.”
As you know, Donald Trump’s impeachment comes just a week after Trump extremists staged a coup at the Capitol, which killed 5 people, including a Capitol Hill Police Officer.
Trump was charged with inciting a riot and is the first and only president to be impeached twice.
