#Roommates, Kanye West is once again making historical moves and this latest news involves his incredibly popular Yeezy sneakers. The Shade Room exclusively reports that the 2008 Nike Air Yeezys that Kanye wore to the 2008 Grammys went on sale for over $1 million at Sothebysmaking it the highest-priced sneaker ever to go on sale in the history of global sneaker sales!
The Yeezys were worn by Kanye during his emotional performance of Hey Mama and his Grammy-winning song Stronger. One of the most prized and sought-after sneakers in existence, the Yeezys are offered from Ryan Chang, renowned sneaker collector and curator of @applied.arts.nyc, and will be on public exhibitionfrom 16 21 Aprilin Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This pair is critical to the development of the Yeezy franchise, which has become one of the most important sneaker and lifestyle brands in history.
