In an exclusive clip of@owntvs#BehindEveryManobtained by#TheShadeRoom,the couple details their marriage proposal that almost went wrong. Ne-Yo reached out to one of Crystals homegirls, seeking assistance for the occasion and things were a bit awkward, at first.
In the clip, Ne-Yo says,
It was a homegirl of hers that knew the jewelers that I got the ring from. Her homegirl was like, ‘Ill come and get the ring to you. She won’t see me, she wont know.’ Alright cool! So, she shows up but she knocks on the door.
Chile, not knowing who was at the door, Crystal answered and wasnt here for the cheap balloons, I answer the door and its an acquaintance. Not that Im bougie but she showed up with some dollar store balloons and a card.
After hearing Ne-Yo paid for the flight and a room, Crystal thought something strange between Ne-Yo and the friend was going on. She was so caught off guard that it was about to get physical,” Crystal stated.
Luckily, Ne-yo jumped in and popped the question. Crystal went from worrying about her acquaintance to wondering why Ne-Yo didnt at least tell her to get her nails done before their proposal.
