For months, rumors have swirled that Boosie and Webbie were no longer as thick as thieves. Recently, that was displayed on Al Gores innanet, when Webbie made a comment under YFN Luccis pic of him and Boosie.
Welp, we caught up with Webbies manager, Derrick, and he was able to add context to the situation.
Even though Webbie made that comment, he was really trolling, according to his manager and is still looking out for Boosie. All he is worried about is loyalty.
Webbie dont really give a f-k. N-s get in their feelings and take s-t out of proportion. Boosie and Webbie, they gon always be. Its like peanut butter and jelly, he expressed. Boosie went to jail, and Webbie was out here workin. Webbies loyalty will always be Trill Entertainment. Thats what Webbie was talkin about, he added. Hes a big person on loyalty. Thats all I know, and the legacy is what hes talking about. It aint about no money. Hes been making money for years. Its about the legacy.
He also stated that Webbie was also replying to a comment made by Boosie, earlier this year, when a follower on IG Live asked him about Boosie. He stated, Dont ask me about Webbie. Do you see me with f-g Webbie. Do you see me hanging with Webbie? Well, dont ask me about f-g Webbie.
It was just something that come up on the internet. Webbie caught it late, when Boosie was saying, Dont ask me about Webbie. You dont see Webbie with me. Webbie posted it on his page, too, cuz he thought it was funny.
Boosie and Webbie have been rocking with each other for years, Derrick stated that its about preserving the legacy.
Either you gon put the Trill Entertainment together or you gon take the Bad Azz legacy and the Savage Life legacy and put them all together and do this s-t the right way.
Webbies manager also addressed claims that Webbie missed shows.
Everybody over at Bad Azz know, they know who to get at, when its business time. We had a couple of shows, but it was never no phone call to management to make s-t go how its supposed to go.
While Webbie made the comment under YFN Luccis pic, theres no beef with YFN Lucci or any other rapper. The two were just together before quarantine.
We were in the club together in Dallas right before this happened. Webbie aint got no beef with anybody in the game. He was just saying what he wanted to say.
Webbie may not have visited Boosie, while he was in jail but that doesnt make him any less of a friend to Boosie.
Some people felt some way about Webbie didnt go to the jail house, but who wants to go to the jail house? he asked. Who wanna go there? That dont make you fake cuz you didnt go to the jail house. Boosie went to jail and they lost Bleek. They lost Phat. Who wanna see that? Lost Pimp C? Who wanna see that? He was reaching out as a brother. Like, where the f-k all these n-s was?
Boosie and Webbie are not communicating at the moment.
Certain people got people on block from the text messages to the internet. So, Webbie just gon say what he wanna say. So, he said what he said.
While Boosie insists Webbie was doing shows in his honor, his team alleges thats not the case at all.
I read something about we were having free Boosie shows, while Boosie was in jail. Thats not true. But he do everywhere he go, just like Pimp C, hollas his (Boosies) name, Rest in peace, Pimp C, Free Boosie. But thats about it, he expressed.
Derrick is hopeful that the two can mend their relationship. After all, theyre family.
They family. I love Boosie just like I love Webbie. We want the best for both of them cuz we know what they can start. This is some different s-t, Its way different, we on some get the family and show other families how to get wealthy too.
Webbie is currently gearing up to release his upcoming album, Savage 6. Some of the artists already mentioned to be featured are Master P and Kevin Gates. Hes hoping to get Da Baby on the album also.
