TSR Positive Images: Kim Kardashian Reportedly Visited Kevin Cooper On Death Row To Help Prove His Innocence

Roommates, Kim Kardashian has been taking her decision to help with prison reform quite seriously. Her most recent effort included spending the day on San Quentin’s death row.
Kim visited one of America’s most notorious prisons for the day, in an effort to free KevinCooper, who has been waiting for his death since 1983, TMZ reports.
Kevin Cooper, now 61-years-old, was convicted of committing 4 murders in Chino Hills, California in the 80’s, and was sent directly to death row. Since his sentencing, the death penalty in CA has been suspended and reinstated, all while Cooper proclaimed his innocence.
Kim K reportedly took on Cooper’s case back in October, when she asked Governor Jerry Brown to look into Cooper’s case because of potential evidence that Cooper had been framed. The former Governor took to Kim’s requests, ordering DNA testing on Cooper’s behalf.
California’s current Governor, Gavin Newsom, ordered additional testing in February and is still waiting for final results. However, Kim decided to pay Cooper a visit, and have a face to face sit down about his experience. TMZ reports, she is “more convinced than ever he was framed” based on their interaction.
For now, Cooper will not face execution because Governor Newsom has suspended all executions while he is in office. But, Kim will continue to make strides to free Kevin Cooper.
Kim has been making an effort to free prisoners all year long. We previously reporter about her successfully freeing 17 inmates over the past few month, with the help of a great legal team.
