TSR Positive Images: Meek Mill Surprises 35 Philadelphia Families With Christmas Gifts (Video)

On Wednesday, Meek Mill blessed 35 Philadelphia families impacted by the broken criminal justice system.

In conjunction with REFORM Alliance, PUMA, GoPuff and DocuVault, kids received MacBook Air laptops, iPads, Amazon Fire HD 8 tablets, baby clothes, Xbox Series X gaming consoles, gift cards, and a variety of toys for their enjoyment.

Practicing social distancing guidelines, a truck pulled up to the homes of the families. Once the gifts were delivered, Meek Mill personally FaceTimed the families.

Meek stated, “It’s been a tough year for all of us, but through all the ups and downs, I’ll always do my part to support and give back to the Philly community that raised me,” Meek said. “I remember not having much growing up, so it’s important to use my platform to give back, especially to the families trying to provide for their kids while also dealing with the criminal justice system.”

Not only did the rapper donate to multiple families, he also gave a separate $30,000 donation to the Philadelphia chapter of Twelve Days of Christmas, a volunteer organization which aims to equip families in need with supplies to enjoy the holidays.

Also, according to TMZ, Meek Mill and 76ers partner Michael Rubin have created their own scholarship fund to help underprivileged youth in Philadelphia! The fund is expected to help nearly 1,000 students in the Philly school system and is expected to be distributed immediately.

A source close to the situation tells TMZ that the money will allow students from poverty-stricken homes to attend private schools throughout the city, and will give virtual learning students access to any equipment they may need, including laptops, tablets, and WiFi.

We love to see it!
