TSR Updatez: Judge Reportedly Changes Conditions Of Derek Chauvin’s Bond– Allows Him To Leave The State Of Minnesota Due To Safety Concerns

Roommates, Derek Chauvin was released on $1 million bond just a few days ago, and the judge in his case has made a big change to the conditions of his release.

According to TMZ, the Hennepin County judge in his case has just ruled that Chauvin is allowed to reside in Minnesota or a state directly outside of Minnesota as he awaits trial. He’ll be able to reside in North and South Dakota, Iowa, or Wisconsin.

The gag is, the judge made the decision after the Department of Corrections reportedly provided evidence that Derek Chauvin could be in danger.

Chauvin is reportedly responsible for reporting his new address to law enforcement once he settles in, and will be under supervision while he waits for his murder trial, which is currently scheduled for March 2021. He is also reportedly required to keep a cell phone on him at all times to be in direct contact with the Minnesota Department of Corrections.

As we previously reported, Derek Chauvin is facing second-degree murder charges for the death of George Floyd, after he left his knee of George’s neck for 8 minutes and 45 seconds back in May. George Floyd passed away from asphyxiation.

Continue to keep George’s family and loved ones in your prayers during this time, Roomies.
