TSR Updatez: US Federal Aviation Administration Declines To Ground Boeing 737 MAX 8 After Fatal Crash In Ethiopia Despite Other Countries Doing So As Precaution

Roommates, many lives have been affected by yesterday’s fatal crash of an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 Aircraft. Since the crash, many countries including China and Indonesia, have decided to ground the jet.
Unfortunately, The United States Federal Aviation Administration has opted not to follow suit.
According to CNN, the FAA made a statement explaining they have not determined whether the issue with the Ethiopian Airlines jet that crashed on Sunday is related to another crash just five months prior via Lion Air.
“External reports are drawing similarities between this accident and the Lion Air Flight 610 accident on October 29, 2018,” the statement read. “However this investigation has just begun and to date we have not been provided data to draw any conclusions or take any actions.”
Instead, the FAA has decided to mandate “design” changes to each aircraft, which are expected to be done by April. The changes will include computer system updates, and changes to the flight crew manual.
Foreign countries are not taking lightly to the crashes, though. Both the Ethiopian Airlines and Lion Air planes were brand-new, and both crashed minutes into flight. China sees this as more than just a coincidence.
“A suspension in China is very significant, as this is a major market for Boeing,” said Greg Waldron, Asia managing editor at FlightGlobal.
Chinese Arlines have 97 of the 737 MAX aircraft grounded for service, which is more than a quarter of the total in operation worldwide. Ethiopian and Cayman airways have done the same, urging the planes will stay grounded until “more information is received.”
We are still keeping those affected by the crash in our prayers, and plan to keep you updated on the story, Roomies!
