TSR Updatez: Woman Suspected Of Sending Poisoned Letter To Donald Trump Arrested At U.S.-Canada Border

A woman who is suspected of sending a letter with ricin poison to Donald Trump has been arrested.

The unknown woman was reportedly arrested while trying to enter the U.S. from Canada at a border crossing in New York State, according to CNN. It was also reported that she had a gun at the time of her arrest.

U.S. prosecutors in Washington, DC are expected to bring charges against the woman for allegedly attempting to poison Donnie with ricin.

CNN reports that the letter appeared to be mailed from St. Hubert, Quebec, and contained a granular substance.

“…the letter was mailed from St. Hubert, Quebec, and contained a granular substance with similar physical characteristics to ground castor beans.”

As previously reported, two tests confirmed that the package containing the ricin poison was sent to Donnie, and was intercepted by the secret service last week.

Mary-Liz Power, chief spokeswoman for Canada’s Minister of Public Safety Bill Blair, said in a statement, “We are aware of the concerning reports of packages containing ricin directed toward U.S. federal government sites. Canadian law enforcement is working closely with their U.S. counterparts. As this is an active investigation we cannot comment further.”

CNN also reports that the FBI’s Washington field office said that “The FBI and our U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Postal Inspection Service partners are investigating a suspicious letter received at a U.S. government mail facility. At this time, there is no known threat to public safety.”

It also appears that packages may have been sent to Texas from the same sender. Authorities are currently investigating this matter as well.

“We are aware of the concerning reports of packages containing ricin directed toward U.S. federal government sites,” Mary-Liz Power told CNN on Saturday.

“Canadian law enforcement is working closely with their U.S. counterparts. As this is an active investigation we cannot comment further,” she said.
