#TSRBeauty: There is nothing like the moment when that melanin pops from the perfect highlighter or lip color.

Social media is filled with plenty of makeup gurus/ beauty bloggers that share their knowledge with the world when it comes to achieving the perfect makeup beat.

This time around, I wanted to highlight a few gurus that have collaborated with major makeup companies to release their own products, as well as those who have started their own makeup companies to help give women of color an endless amount of options.

Jackie Aina is known for keeping it in her tutorials and killing it with her outfits on the ‘gram. In the past, she has collaborated with makeup brand Artist Couture to release her own highlighters. She started off with the release of her “La Bronze” highlighter, which reached instant success, and last year she came back around and hit everyone with her latest shade “La Peach.”

Makeup Shayla first reached success through her page on Instagram. Like many other gurus, she doesn’t hesitate to share the hottest products on the market. However, last year she had the chance to collaborate with Maybelline to release three different shades of mascara and her own “City Mini-Palette.”

Ellarie is yet another guru that has seen tons of success from her work on YouTube. Back in 2014, she collaborated with Colourpop and released a lipstick and lip pencil combo. Fast-forward to 2018, she has collaborated with the company once again, but this time she released a total of six lip shades.

Raye Boyce, who is most known as ItsMyRayeRaye, is another guru who has collaborated with Colourpop. Back in 2016, she launched her “Stingraye” lip combo with the company. At the end of 2017, she teamed up with BH Cosmetics for her very own collection, which consists of a 15-eyeshadow palette, 3 highlighters, 3 contouring shades, and a complete brush set. Earlier this year, she launched her “Rosey Raye” lippies to complete the collection.

Alissa Ashley has become a big hit on social media with her twin sister Arnell. However, she has solidified her own identity with her flawless makeup looks. Last year, she teamed up with E.l.f to release her perfect “Nude Rose” lipgloss.

Missy Lynn gained popularity on YouTube while she served her time in the U.S. Air Force. After serving her time, she continues to be a staple in the beauty community. Back in 2015, she collaborated with BH Cosmetics to release her four “Color Lock” lipsticks and her eyeshadow and baked highlighter palette.

Sonjdra Deluxe is known for her glowing makeup looks. Back in 2016, she teamed up with Melanie Mills Hollywood to release her very own Gleam Body Radiance in “Peach Deluxe.”

Chelsie Worthy has gained popularity for her “traptorials,” as she showcases her makeup looks through her dope editing skills and some of the latest music. Chelsie has also gained recognition from her highlight always being on point. She launched her very own “Stardust” highlighters that come in 10 different shades.

Wuzzam Supa reached social media celebrity status through her comedy and story time videos. She’s taken her social media popularity and launched many different business ventures, but it’s her Crayon Case makeup line that is changing the makeup game. With highly pigmented eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, lipsticks, and brow products, Crayon Case is quickly becoming one of the go-to brands for many makeup artists.
