#TSRFreshOut: Rowdy Rebel Is Released From Prison

It looks like another member of the GS9 crew has been released from prison.

According to multiple reports, Brooklyn rapper Rowdy Rebel has been released from prison. XXL reports that the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision inmates search shows that Rowdy was released from Collins Correctional Facility in Collins NY today (December 15th).

As many of you know, he is also the right-hand man to Bobby Shmurda, and they both were arrested back in 2014. Rowdy served his time for conspiracy charges and criminal possession of a weapon.

Back in 2016, Bobby did an interview with Complex where he revealed that he actually took a plea deal in favor of Rowdy and said, “I did it for Rowdy. They offered me five and offered Rowdy 12. They said the only way they’ll give him seven is if I took seven too. So, you know, I had to take one for the dawgs.”

It is also being reported that Rowdy also has a parole hearing for next February with post-release supervision with a maximum expiration date of Dec. 15, 2025.

As we previously reported, back in October Bobby Shmurda was denied parole as board members cited that Bobby had “multiple” violations in prison. Some of those violations included allegedly having a shank, fighting, and drug possession. However, Bobby reportedly argued that he’s changed and is ready to get his life back on track.
